​The Cultural Immersion Program by Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD and University of Western Australia, UWA provides a transformative experience that combined academic learning and cultural immersion. Held under the Global Discovery Program, the four-week program enabled students to experience Brunei Darussalam in a more meaningful and personal way. The Cultural Immersion Program concluded with a Closing Ceremony at the University Library, UBD, 16th December afternoon.

In attendance was His Excellency Michael Hoy, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. 11 undergraduate students, funded through the Australian Government's New Colombo Plan took part in the program. Their participation reflects the importance placed on fostering people-to-people connections and strengthening regional understanding through education.
